I walked in tonight with average expectations given Yelp reviews and was immediately swayed to a very positive vibe which continued through dinner. Winner, winner burger dinner.
First I'd like to give kudos to our waiter, Justin. He was friendly and responsive, checked on us often without being obnoxious. He was very professional and checked-in to give us a heads up on our appetizer order and dinner.
We shared the seared pepper tuna for $16. It was good quality tuna, seared perfectly and served over peppery arugula. It was good. Not sure I ordered again at $16 just to keep the bill a little lower.
The burgers were fantastic. Served on a brioche bun with a spicy maple syrup (their house sauce) on the side, cole slaw, pickle and fries. Justin suggested sweet potato at a $1 more. They were good but when I return I'll go with the regular fries, OMG they were good. Salty with some herbs and cooked to perfection.
The burgers were a stand out. I had the YWH which was served with a fried egg. I've never ordered a burger with the egg on top because I thought it would be too messy. The egg was cooked perfectly, enough yolky goodness to drip but not a crazy explosion which I expected. I still looked like a "lady" eating my burger. Frizzled onions and cheese were under the egg.
My daughter had the turkey burger with gouda which she enjoyed greatly. There were other toppings but I don't recall.
Happy Hour is daily (week days) from 4-8pm and you can get those prices at tables not just at the bar. The drink of the day was a kick ass Sangria with whiskey at $6. Strong and tasty.
Looks like they get a fun young crowd for Karaoke. Ignore the bad reviews, this place serves a good burger and prices are in line with most places. -

I probably wont got back. Service was friendly enough but had an issuse waiting for food. My friend ordered beef sliders and another customer who came in about 20 minutes later order pork slider and he got his order first. The bartender told my friend it takes longer to cook his beef sliders than the pork sliders. Asked for the check, then my friend got the sliders. Maybe a bad night? I dont know

Came here with a friend for a few drinks. We ended up grabbing a bite to eat as well. The vibes were very chill, the music was loud and the food was great. If you come here, you should definitely get the Mac &cheese!
Fyi, the mojitos are realllly strong lol. The service at the bar was great. The music, if you're expecting to dance all night then you are coming to the wrong place lol. They had a dj the night I went and the dj was pretttty bad. You'd get one great song then a really bad one. People were dancing and suddenly they'd sit because the music changed so drastically. I still gave them 5 stars because my friend said on a regular night, the music is pretty good. -

I used to be a regular here for months. In the last few months you would think that this place would get better for the summer but every weekend it's the same mess. Thursdays are probably there only good night. The establishment is scheduled to close at 3am but once the big guy leaves the manager closes bar early around 1am or 2am , so a bar hop to this joint is out of the question. Also I couldnt enjoy my drink or music with staff talking politics about "Trump" .. the manager is a big Trump supporter who was talking politics around me and my husband and was making such racist remarks about immigrants. Mind you we are caucasian and felt disgusted and uncomfortable. My husband and I left after only one or 2 drinks ( that taste like juice).
This place used to be filled with diversity, culture and respect. I dont know what changes they made but it definitely isnt the same. It looks like a hang out for managements friends, not customers. We can barely get food at a decent time. Now it just seems like a right-winged private bar. We used to enjoy our evenings at the Wiskey House, I wouldnt step a foot back in this place.
